The UK has seen its social behaviour, change for the worse and no one seems to know, where to place blame; I do.
It is beyond me, why Humans need idols, why Humans need to look upon people that simply happen to be (in many cases) good at what they do, as the examples to follow?! I will concede defeat when I see a street sweeper, being respected and adored in the same manner, as someone that becomes pathetic when fame and money, turns them to stupid, ignorant and arrogant, self-centered, attention dependent twits. The only explanation I can give, is that the majority of Humans, lack self-confidence. And so, they look upon these so called celebrities, as Social role models; how sad. These people are so wrongly placed in high pedestals, that they come to lose the grip on the very basic values, thinking that they have been given rights that no one else can have.
What am I on about? A true icon of British comedy, who's work is still enjoyed and will be so in 100 years time, was deeply insulted by two people that apart from being famous and rich, only have the right to another adjective, vulgar.
One, can actually be funny at times and so, almost have us forget his elegant vulgarity, in most of his programs. The other, that has not long ago abandoned the dummy he sucked, tries to be funny but his only success is to look like a cockerel that lost its mind and, be as low and vulgar, to the point of saying to someone that this Nation truly respects, that he had slept with the gentleman's grand daughter. Behaving in this manner, during a public broadcast, not only sends the wrong message to our youth, which is already without valuable and propper guidance, that it is okay to behave in such a manner, but also makes people question why anyone else would be arrested for swearing on the street, causing disturbance and other ugly public behaviour, under the Public Offense Act. These two, deserve more than a simple arrest, they deserve to be taken back to the basics of normal and many a time, hard day to day life and even, (in my opinion), a month or two in jail, (although the insane cockerel might actually enjoy it), for gross failure in their Social responsibility and of course, the uncalled and unprovoked insult to the gentleman and his family.
The position of the BBC? An apology and these idiots keep their jobs, most likely. The BBC, receives TV Licensing money from the public in general, yet, pays astronomical salaries, not only to vulgar people like these two, but to presenters that are simply ignorant. A couple of years ago (roughly), I saw a lady presenter doing the “Breakfast” program and when she was faced with the word “mandibula”, she was unable to read it and then, asked her co-presenter what was a mandibula, what it meant. And these people went to University?! And they are seen as well spoken and intelligent?! Anyway, apart from past and recent blunders on the part of the BBC, the organization believes that a rather late apology is good enough. What a load of elephant dung. Anyone else, in a normal job, in any other company, for a 100 times lesser offense, would get sacked and so should these two idiots. They should not ever be allowed to work in media again, certainly not where the public can see or/and hear them. Yes, that would be the just thing to do, but it won't happen and these two little vulgar persons will be allowed to carry on, until they do it again and everyone will treat it as a joke of bad taste and carry on putting them on some pathetic pedestal.
I heard that 10.000 complaints were sent, good but not enough. We need to put people like these twits, in their little place and 10 million British people need to do what we don't really like to do, complain; though 10.000 is a good start.
My personal message to these two idiots? Listen guys, the decent thing to do, is a public apology and a private one if the offended parties will receive you, some reparation and then, just get out of Media. You know what, I rather have, see or hear 10 Gordon Ramsay, than a ¼ of one of you; you are disgusting and Mr. Ramsay has a fantastic personality, you have none at all.
